We’re growers first, founded by blueberry growers, and that background shapes how we write about the fruit we sell. But growing berries and writing about health, storage, or farming practices are different skills, so here’s how we handle that.
How we source information
When we reference research or health information, we link to the original source rather than restate it as our own finding. That means published studies, university health resources, and recognized health organizations.
How content gets reviewed
Articles go through our internal team before they publish. We check claims against the sources we’ve cited and update anything that no longer holds up. This site is meant to be a practical resource about berries and produce, not a substitute for advice from a doctor or dietitian, and we say so wherever it’s relevant.
Corrections
We get things wrong sometimes. If you spot an error, factual, typographical, or otherwise, let us know here and we’ll look into it to correct it if it’s warranted.
Where we're coming from
We sell berries, so we’re not a neutral party, and we’d rather be upfront about that than pretend otherwise. What we can commit to is writing about berries the way we’d want to read about them: grounded in what’s actually known, not stretched to sound more impressive than it is.
